Sebastian has created a team of golf management professionals who strive to exceed the “highest of client expectations” with each and every event.
Sebastian has a Bachelor Degree in Travel & Tourism Management and Hotel and Restaurant Management from United States International University (USIU) where he went to college on a full golf scholarship to compete nationally on their NCAA Division I golf team. He has a wealth of hotel and corporate hospitality related experience as well as a specific expertise in corporate golf tournament planning and management. His personal relationships within the Professional Golf Association (PGA), PGA Tour players, golf product manufacturers such as TaylorMade, Callaway Golf and Cobra & Puma Golf, and the corporate golf industry over the past 25 years are longstanding and numerous.
Sebastian Medori, Founder of National Golf Event Management, Inc., was the Director of Golf and Recreation for 5 years at the Sheraton Grande Torrey Pines (now Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines) until 1998. During his time at the Sheraton and throughout the past 20+ years, Sebastian has built a very strong partnership with the world famous Torrey Pines Golf Course and its staff, and all of the top golf courses in San Diego County and Southern California.
Today, Sebastian is NGEM’s President and Director of Golf and still very much “hands-on” with all of the events booked by NGEM.
Over the years, Sebastian has booked and managed more than 2,000 golf events working closely with partner golf courses, vendors and clients.
National Golf Event Management (NGEM) has been booking and operating corporate golf events as well as golf outings since 1998. Until 2010, NGEM was the Tournament and Corporate Golf Event Management Department for a local golf company doing business mostly in the San Diego County area. In 2010, National Golf Event Management became a Corporation and not only continued doing business in the San Diego area, but also started booking and managing golf events across the country and internationally, mostly due to the high demand of past clients requesting NGEM’s services in other destinations.
Several San Diego hotels have partnered with NGEM in order to use the golf knowledge, experience and expertise that Sebastian Medori and his team can provide to their corporate clients and hotel guests. NGEM is very proud to be a partner and the exclusive provider of golf event management services for the world-renowned Hotel del Coronado. Sebastian Medori has been acting as the in-house Director of Golf for the Hotel del Coronado since 1998.
